Engineer III

Description

The Platinum Hotel seeks an experienced Shift Engineer. This is a full-time position Friday-Tuesday from 3p-11p. Starting pay is $20 per hour. This position will help to ensure that all physical building assets and equipment remain in good repair with a minimum of down time. This is accomplished by performing day-to-day maintenance and preventative maintenance projects in the hotel. Specialized skills such as HVAC, boilers, plumbing, electrical is highly desired.

CPO Certification Required. We will provide training if necessary.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

1. Must be able to read and interpret documents to include:
Blueprints/Schematics, Procedure manuals, OSHA standards such as Lock Out/Tag Out, SDS, etc.

2. Possess the individual ability to troubleshoot, repair and/or maintain all of the following:

* Physical building to include all FF&E

* A/C and refrigeration equipment

* Electrical systems

* Mechanical equipment (i.e. motors, starters, pumps, fans, etc.)

* Plumbing and drains

* Pneumatic and electronic systems and controls

* Fire Alarm and Life Safety equipment

3. Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills

4. Ability to work independently or as a member of a team.

5. Analytical skills in order to be able to assess and identify problems and then implement solutions.

6. Represent the hotel and company in a courteous and professional manner at all times.

7. Must be able to safely use hand and power tools.

8. Certified Pool Operator license required
