Residential Service Technician

Pay: $70,000.00 – $ per year

Bob’s Repair is a locally owned HVAC company based in Las Vegas, Nevada. We are growing fast and looking to add a motivated Residential HVAC Service Technician to our team. As a Residential HVAC Service Technician, you’ll be responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, repairing, and occasionally installing a variety of HVAC systems. We’re seeking a dependable, skilled, and customer-focused technician who works with integrity and delivers exceptional service.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems (old and new)

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and precision tune-ups

• Install heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems when needed

• Sell HVAC equipment and service agreements

• Respond to emergency maintenance requests

• Accurately complete paperwork and job documentation

• Follow all safety policies and company standard operating procedures

• Build rapport with customers and deliver excellent customer service

• Experience: Minimum 3 years in HVAC maintenance and repair (Required)

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent

• Certifications: EPA Certified (Required), OSHA 10 (Preferred), 410a Certified (Required)

• Skills:

  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking
  • Familiarity with HVAC wiring diagrams
  • Ability to adapt to changes and complete tasks efficiently
  • Excellent communication skills

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Clean background check (no felonies)

• Must pass a drug test

• Must own hand tools and gauges

• Must speak, read, and write fluent English

• Positive attitude and ability to work well with others

• HVAC Repair Commissions: 25%

• Equipment Sales Commission: 7% on each successful unit sale

• Commission items include: compressors, UV lights, filters, air scrubbers, motors, capacitors, blowers, fuses, and other small repairs
