1) – $90,959.44 (Step 20) annually
Typical Starting Salary: $56,897.57 – $62,804.35 annually, (DOE)

Position Summary

The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for ensuring the property's physical condition meets agency standards and for managing and responding to resident maintenance issues and repairs. The mechanic performs a variety of skilled work in the maintenance, repair, alteration, and installation of appliances, equipment, and fixtures in several of the building trades, including heating and air conditioning (HVAC), carpentry, electrical, painting, plumbing, and construction of Housing Authority facilities, with no direct supervisory responsibilities.
