Field Technician
We are looking for a reliable Field Technician to handle the hands‑on installation of our equipment. Your role will involve rooftop setup, cabling, and collaboration with our remote Engineering team to get clients connected and online. We provide paid on‑the‑job training and offer a company truck.
What You Will Do- Install & Setup:
Safely install and uninstall equipment on client rooftops. - Cabling:
Run, install, and terminate shielded CAT5/CAT6 and RJ11 cables. - Tech Deployment:
Mount and physically install Access Points, Phones, Cameras, Routers, and Switches. - Troubleshooting:
Conduct routine field maintenance and basic physical troubleshooting with remote support and direction from our Engineering department. - Safety First:
Strictly adhere to safety protocols to ensure the well‑being of yourself, your team, and our customers.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to pass a background check.
- Flexibility to work a variable schedule (including weekends), with occasional evening overtime and out‑of‑town travel as required.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Must be confident working at various heights, including carrying a 32‑foot extension ladder and safely navigating single and multi‑story residential or business rooftops.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Manual dexterity with proficient use of hand and power tools.
- Visual acuity to distinguish colors and fine details for installation and troubleshooting.
- Comfortable using a field laptop to connect to equipment and adjust basic IP settings.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and customer service skills.
- Prior experience with a Microwave Internet Service Provider.
- Previous experience with Cox, DirecTV, or satellite installations.
- Familiarity with cable testing equipment (such as Fluke or Ideal).
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a strong plus.

- 40 hours/week. Scheduled days will vary (Monday–Sunday).
- $18.00 – $20.00 an hour to start.
