We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician in Las Vegas. This position will be responsible for performing electrical and mechanical inspection, start-up maintenance on the equipment we sell. This is a full‑time opportunity for an energetic go‑getter. An ideal candidate will be customer service oriented and work well with others. The position requires a high level of correspondence with Project Managers, Service Coordinators, and customers.

Responsibilities
  • Complete start‑up and proper documentation of new units
  • Perform specific preventative maintenance including belt adjustments, oiling, greasing, and cleaning of equipment.
  • Use experience and technical skills with preventive maintenance and system operations to determine service requirements.
  • Interpret engineering drawings in reference to layout, location, and operation of the system(s)
  • Represent the company in a positive manner to other trades, contractors, and owners.
  • Advise owner/representative of preventive maintenance inspections performed and corrective actions to be taken.
  • Suggest additional services that are beneficial to customers.
Required Profile
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
  • Current HVAC certification and OSHA 10 Training plus 1–5 years’ experience working as a Service Helper or Service Technician in a residential or commercial environment
  • Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and working proficiency with handheld computer (i.e., Smartphone, iPad)
  • Electrical knowledge required; EPA Certification Preferred (e.g., HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator, Gas Installer)
  • Ability to work in diverse conditions (mechanical equipment rooms, noisy environment, extreme weather, electrical shock risk, climbing/working at heights)
  • Must be able to climb, crawl, stoop, kneel, and regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds or 75 pounds as required
  • Work independently with minimal supervision and balance multiple duties
Other Skills & Abilities Language Skills

Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Write correspondence. Present information effectively in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.

Mathematical Skills

Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Compute rate, ratio, and percent and draw and interpret graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Apply common sense to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Prioritize multiple tasks with mental stamina for problem solving.

Physical Demands

Perform duties using hands to operate computer keyboard and reach with hands and arms. Frequently stand, walk, and sit. Climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, or 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Additional Responsibilities
  • Work in a team‑based environment to share information and workload while ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Submit required paperwork to Service Coordinator in a timely manner
  • Work in a safe manner daily and ensure all safety measures are always taken
  • Perform other duties as assigned
