Aircraft Mechanic
We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Mechanic to join our certified repair station specializing in every aspect of aircraft maintenance. You will work on narrow and wide body, small to large, regional to long-haul aircraft, contributing to one of the largest storage and reclamation operations in the world.
Responsibilities- Research technical data and perform disassembly, repair, cleaning, adjustment, assembly, testing, and calibration of aircraft components.
- Use company special tools and ground equipment in accordance with applicable maintenance manuals, FAA regulations, and company policies.
- Repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structures such as wings and fuselage, and functional components including rigging, surface controls, plumbing, and hydraulic units.
- Read and interpret manufacturers' and airlines' maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications.
- Complete appropriate identification, inspections, routing tags, and forms upon removing units from an aircraft or major component.
- Disassemble and inspect aircraft and engine parts for wear or defects, repairing or replacing as necessary.
- Adjust, repair, or replace electrical wiring systems and aircraft accessories.
- Perform miscellaneous duties to service aircraft, including cleaning, servicing, greasing, moving parts, and checking brakes.
- Airframe required.
- 3-5+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance.
- Current valid driver's license.
Skills & Qualifications
- A&P license preferred.
- Basic set of tools required; all tools must be properly etched.
- Willingness to submit to a FAA Compliance

Work EnvironmentThe work takes place in an aircraft maintenance hangar, requiring physical activities such as sitting, standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds. You will operate aircraft ground servicing equipment and use hand tools. The environment involves exposure to high-intensity noise levels, extreme temperature changes, and safety procedures involving goggles, safety glasses, face shields, ear protection, aprons, gloves, and safety harnesses.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Las Vegas, NV.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $39.12 - $43.00/hr.
