A roofing laborer assists roofers and foremen with installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems.
A laborer must have the ability to:
- Lift 50–80 lbs and perform strenuous physical labor.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and teamwork skills.
- Material handling.
- Tear‑offs.
- Operate hand and power tools.
- Prepare job sites, load/unload trucks, and transport materials to roof level.
- Maintain clean, safe job sites and dispose of debris properly.
- Follow strict safety protocols.
