We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to support the day-to-day upkeep of our facilities, equipment, and systems. In this role, you will help ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment by performing routine inspections, completing repairs, and responding to maintenance requests in a timely manner. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality work, communicates effectively, and enjoys solving practical problems.
Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on building systems, equipment, and fixtures.
- Respond to work orders and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or general facility issues.
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to help reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
- Monitor equipment performance and report any safety concerns, malfunctions, or needed replacements.
- Assist with installation, assembly, or relocation of equipment and furnishings as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, parts usage, and completed work.
- Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Work collaboratively with team members, vendors, and other departments to support operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification preferred.
- Previous experience in maintenance, facilities, or a related hands-on role is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or HVAC systems.
- Ability to diagnose issues, use hand and power tools, and complete repairs safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to read and interpret instructions, diagrams, and maintenance documentation.
- Good communication and time management skills.
- Ability to lift, carry, bend, climb, and stand for extended periods as required by the role.
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs or computerized maintenance systems.
- Familiarity with safety standards and facility compliance practices.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and respond effectively to urgent maintenance needs.
