Conversion Technician

Full‑time Conversion Technician is responsible for supporting and managing various conversions for the stadium for all events, including installation and removal of synthetic turf, retractable seating, stages, builds, and furniture movement. Cross‑functional responsibilities include supporting the stadium for all event set‑ups and breakdown of all facets of the facility. Direct support to Operations Managers with timekeeping, documentation support, site operational planning and development, and asset inventory control for all FF&E assets.

• Assist in overall conversion of stadium from event to event and handle set‑up and tear‑down tasks for each event.
• Responsible for set‑up and tear‑down of all stadium‑owned or leased furniture, fixtures, and equipment—including tables, chairs, linens, small risers, stanchions, signage, barricades, k‑rails, etc.
• Assist in the installation, removal, and maintenance of the synthetic turf for stadium events.
• Assist in the installation, removal, and maintenance of the SEDA Seating system for stadium events.
• Assist in the installation, removal, and maintenance of the Stageright decking system for stadium events.
• Operate stadium‑owned or leased machinery and equipment to complete all tasks safely, following proper safety procedures.
• Assist in maintenance and management of equipment inventory and proper storage of conversion equipment, tools, and supplies to ensure all equipment is accounted for and kept in good working condition.
• Responsible for repair and maintenance of all stadium‑owned seating.
• Support the daily operations of the stadium’s loading dock; handle sending and receiving deliveries, track stadium packages through Notify, and book delivery appointments.
• Train PT laborers in carrying out all conversion tasks and operating operational equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

• A minimum education level of High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1‑2 years of related work experience.
• Ability to work overnight hours, weekends, overtime, and holidays.
• Ability to understand verbal and written instructions in English.
• Ability to follow directions and perform job functions under limited supervision.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds frequently.
• Ability to stand on feet for up to 8 hours, sit, walk, bend, kneel, climb, grasp, stretch, stoop, and reach above head during conversion tasks.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to work safely and complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Ability to work in warm or cold environments.
• Ability to work under pressure in a time‑sensitive, fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to work in a moderately to very loud noise environment.
• Requires teamwork.
• Requires wearing common protective or safety equipment.
• Must comply with attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
• Must possess strong leadership and written/oral communication qualities.
• Prior conversion experience preferred.
• Forklift operation experience preferred.
