Maintenance Tech
Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of facilities and equipment through routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs, encompassing tasks like plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
Key Responsibilities- Performing regular checks, inspections, and preventative maintenance on building systems, equipment, and machinery.
- Diagnosing and fixing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues promptly.
- Maintaining and repairing building systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Maintaining and repairing machinery, equipment, and tools used in the facility.
- Ensuring that all equipment and systems are maintained to meet safety standards and regulations.
- Maintaining an inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies needed for repairs and maintenance.
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Working with other team members, contractors, and vendors to coordinate repairs and maintenance activities.
- Responding promptly to emergency maintenance requests and ensuring minimal downtime.
- Installing new equipment or machinery as needed.
- Identifying and resolving maintenance issues efficiently and effectively.
- Communicating effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and clients regarding maintenance issues and progress.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Proven experience in property maintenance or related field.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
