Technician Maintenance

Job Title: Maintenance Technician (Mechanic)

Employment Type: Permanent

Assist the Las Vegas team in maintaining and servicing facility machinery, including mechanical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and small fabrication tasks.

• Perform mechanical work such as changing bearings, belts, and idler pulleys on conveyors.
• Clean and replace pneumatic valves on optical sorting machines; maintain organized work area.
• Communicate equipment issues with mechanics and supervisors across shifts.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs on bucket elevators, screw conveyors, forklifts, front‑end loaders, and sweepers.
• Install facility machinery as required.
• Perform welding and small fabrication for repairs around the facility.
• Inspect, maintain, and root‑cause mechanical and electrical equipment failures.
• Fabricate repair parts and solutions.
• Operate and monitor facility machinery, ensuring product quality.
• Maintain logs of maintenance and repair activities.
• Maintain a clean work area and secure tools.
• Ensure a safe environment for self and others.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
• 1‑3 years of maintenance experience (preferred).
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics.
• Proficiency in mechanical troubleshooting and repair with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Time‑management and prioritization skills.
• Team player capable of leading and contributing to a team effort.
• Ability to work safely and efficiently.
• Knowledge of glass processing (preferred).
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Experience with PLC (preferred).
• Experience with mechanical conveyors and electronic equipment.
