Job Summary
As a Maintenance Engineer, you play a critical role in ensuring the smooth, safe, and uninterrupted operation of the property by performing troubleshooting, repairs, installations, and preventive maintenance across guest rooms, restaurants, casino floors, and other facilities. You support comfort, safety, and satisfaction of guests while upholding quality and compliance standards.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities- Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company’s guest service culture.
- Diagnose and perform repairs on equipment and systems across guest rooms, public spaces, restaurants, casino, and back‑of‑house areas.
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical, mechanical, plumbing, lighting, kitchen, and HVAC systems.
- Complete minor cosmetic repairs and installations for furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
- Assist in shift turnover by communicating pending work orders and unresolved maintenance issues.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws, internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations.
- Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Minimum 5 years of hotel or facility maintenance experience.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.

- Knowledge and/or certification in one or more of the following: plumbing, air handling, refrigeration, electricity, electronics, carpentry, flooring, kitchen equipment, or upholstery.
- Southern Nevada pool certification preferred.
- 5 years of plumbing experience preferred.
- Proven experience delivering high‑quality guest service.
- Position classified as safety‑sensitive and requires successful completion of a pre‑employment drug screening, including testing for marijuana.
- At least 21 years of age.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal.
- Obtain and maintain all required work cards as required by the company.
- Verify right to work in the United States.
- Frequently push or pull up to 100 lbs.
- Frequently lift or carry up to 100 lbs. at floor, knee, waist, and chest levels.
- Regularly squat, kneel, reach, bend, and twist.
- Regularly stand and walk throughout shift.
- Occasionally sit and work at a desk or computer.
- Ability to communicate using in‑person speech, radios, and telephone.
- Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds in person.
- Ability to distinguish between shades of color.
- Ability to use tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity.
- Ability to ascend or descend ladders, scaffolding, and/or ramps.
- Indoor and outdoor conditions.
- Smoky, noisy, bright flashing lights.
- Extreme heights.
- Extreme hot and cold temperatures.
- Slippery surfaces.
- Exposure to dust, fumes, and gases.
