Job Description

You will operate high-capacity forklifts, handle materials safely and efficiently, and help prepare components for delivery to solar project sites in the Southwest Las Vegas and Sloan, NV area.

Responsibilities
  • Operate large warehouse forklifts with 10,000–20,000 lb capacity to move materials safely and efficiently within the facility and job site.
  • Handle and transport torque tubes and other components used in solar tracking systems with care and precision.
  • Support the assembly of solar tracking systems by staging, positioning, and moving materials as directed.
  • Prepare materials and components for shipment to solar project sites, including organizing, palletizing, and positioning loads.
  • Follow all site safety procedures and maintain compliance with required personal protective equipment at all times.
  • Inspect forklifts and related equipment before use and report any issues or maintenance needs promptly.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in both warehouse and job-site environments.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet daily production and shipping goals.
  • Follow instructions for material placement, storage, and retrieval to support efficient inventory flow.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience operating Hyster forklifts or similar high-capacity equipment.
  • Previous experience working on solar project sites or handling torque tubes.
  • Familiarity with inventory handling in a warehouse environment.
  • Experience in material handling for construction or industrial projects.

Work Environment

This position is based in the Southwest Las Vegas area, with work performed at a job site in Sloan, NV. You will work Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The environment includes both large warehouse operations and outdoor job-site conditions associated with solar projects. The role requires strict adherence to safety practices and the use of personal protective equipment at all times, including a hard hat, safety-toed boots, gloves, safety glasses, and a high-visibility vest.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
