As an Associate Field Engineer, you will be a frontline technician working onsite in Reno, NV, supported by a company that has been developing intelligent building solutions for over 40 years.
Key Responsibilities- Install, troubleshoot, and optimize DDC systems, ensuring controls, sensors, and software operate correctly while configuring trends and alarms.
- Maintain accurate construction records and communicate project status clearly to the team and customers.
- Travel as needed and adapt to changing schedules and project locations to keep field operations on track.
- Continuously develop skills through self‑directed learning, seeking increased responsibility as you advance.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid, current driver’s license and insurability by the company’s insurance carrier.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as squatting and climbing for extended periods.
- Capability to work over 8 feet above grade and proficient use of ladders and motorized lift equipment.
- Degree or technical certificate in HVAC, controls, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of BAS integration and TCP/IP networking (including wireless).
- Experience with building automation software such as WebCTRL and installation of building automation controls.
- Strong communication skills to explain technical information to non‑technical people and work well within a team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.

Pay RangeThe annual salary for this position is between $43,500.00 and $87,500.00, based on skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.
Other CompensationEligible for short‑term cash incentives subject to plan requirements.
