Diesel Technician

Bobcat of is seeking a Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our team as a leader in the compact construction equipment industry. Our Diesel Technicians play a key role in customer relations and service representation, with a passion for helping customers and a can-do attitude that exceeds expectations.

• Conduct daily equipment and preventative maintenance inspections
• Diagnose and repair all major systems on compact equipment, with emphasis on the Bobcat line
• Perform system rebuilds and overhauls
• Welding
• Work effectively with all levels of the company – Parts, Service, Sales, Rental
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Supervisor

• 2+ years of experience in heavy and/or equipment service operations (skid steers, excavators, etc.)
• Strong mechanical background including diagnostics, diesel mechanics, hydraulics, and electrical
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, organized, energetic, able to stay cool under pressure
• Computer skills
• Professional communication with customers
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

While performing duties, the employee is exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The position may involve indoors and outdoors work with varying conditions. The noise level can be loud.

• Constantly active; standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing
• Frequently lift and/or move items over 50 lbs
• Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

• Salary: $25.00-$35.00 DOE
