Apprentice 1 – Electrical assists electricians with installation, repairs, and maintenance of electrical systems.

• Assists with installation, repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
• Assists with blueprints, runs conduit, wires devices, troubleshoots and performs quality control testing.
• Assists with reading mechanical and electrical drawings and code specifications for determining wiring layouts.
• Assists with troubleshooting, tests and repairs emergency generators and various electrical systems and power distribution systems to ensure they are working properly.
• Assists with running tests, isolates problems, replaces damaged section of wiring, and lays out circuit.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

High school diploma, GED, or completion from trade program or technical school, required.

• 0‑1 year of experience in construction, refrigeration, HVAC, or other related industry/trade, preferred.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Ability to read and understand blueprint that details electrical devices need to be installed.
• Ability to look for issues and be a capable problem solver.
• Organized and analytical.
• Ability to act on instructions and work well with others.
• Skill in verbal and written communication.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Good driving record.
• Ability to understand and follow all company policies and procedures and applicable State and Federal laws.
• Ability to use typical business tools including e‑mail, Word, Excel, etc.

The role is performed in a clean, well‑lit, climate‑controlled professional office environment with minimal physical hazards.

Must be able to stand, sit, walk, talk, hear, drive, use hands and fingers, reach, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 25 pounds occasionally.
