Tiler - Contract Position in Las Vegas

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Tiler to join our team for a contract position in Las Vegas. As a Tiler you will be responsible for measuring and cutting tiles, preparing surfaces and installing tiles on floors, walls and other surfaces. You must have prior experience in tiling and be able to work independently or as part of a team.

• Measure and cut tiles to fit specific areas.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning and leveling them.
• Mix and apply adhesive material to secure tiles.
• Install tiles on floors, walls and other surfaces.
• Ensure tiles are level and properly aligned.
• Make necessary adjustments to ensure even spacing between tiles.
• Cut tiles around obstacles such as pipes or cabinets.
• Apply grout between tiles and clean excess grout.
• Replace cracked or damaged tile as needed.
• Follow safety procedures when handling tools and materials.

• Proven experience as a Tiler or similar role.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions.
• Familiarity with different tile materials and methods of installation.
• Good math skills for measuring and cutting tiles accurately.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy materials.
• Attention to detail for precise tile placement.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Salary:
This is a contract position with a salary of $1100 per month.
