Maintenance Mechanic

Summary:

The Bronco Off-Roadeo Raptor Experience is an opportunity for the vehicle owners to drive our fleet of vehicles with a certified instructor on a private off-road track. The driving experience integrates classroom education and on-track one‑on‑one coaching from a racing Coach into one comprehensive, safe, and exciting driving experience. With this comes great responsibility of maintaining our fleet up to date and in great operating condition.

We are currently looking to expand our team on the automotive maintenance side of our operations. Diagnosing vehicles as needed and repairing issues as they arise. The ideal candidates are punctual, dependable, attentive to small details, hardworking, self-guided and most importantly, highly motivated.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Inspect vehicles for mechanical, electrical, or electronics issues using diagnosing equipment and identify root cause
• Perform routine inspections such as undercarriage, engine bay, vehicle interior, vehicle exterior, wheels and tires
• Perform routine maintenance such as air filters, fluid top offs and tire replacement
• Vehicle testing prior and after repairs
• Maintain detailed records of fleet repairs, and maintenance checks
• Communicate effectively with site director and team
• Maintain a clean working environment, keep tools and equipment in working order
• Order parts as needed and maintain inventory records
• Vehicle recovery as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Minimum of 2 years mechanical experience
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics and diagrams
• Ability to change oil and filters, suspension repair, electrical troubleshooting, tire changes, etc.
• Acceptable driving record and possess a valid driver’s license
• Off‑Road driving experience, nice to have
• Must be able to respond to direction and critiques from supervisors
• Must be detail-oriented and committed to accuracy and timeliness
• Ability to work independently, exercise good judgment, and effectively problem solve
• Ability to work with other people, team skills, with a positive work attitude

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus while in a moving vehicle.
