Profession Construction Heavy Equipment Operator City Las Vegas USA We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our fast-paced construction team in Las Vegas. As a Heavy Equipment Operator you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators and cranes. Your main goal will be to ensure the safe and efficient operation of these machines to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
Responsibilities- Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner according to project plans and specifications
- Conduct pre-operational checks on all equipment before use
- Perform routine maintenance on machines including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs
- Follow all safety regulations and protocols while on the job site
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth operations
- Keep detailed records of equipment usage, maintenance, and repairs
- Troubleshoot any equipment malfunctions and report them to the appropriate personnel
- Ensure that work is completed within project timelines and meets quality standards
- High school diploma or equivalent education required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment in a construction setting
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- Certification in heavy equipment operation preferred
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation
- Ability to read blueprints or schematics is an asset
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Salary We offer a competitive salary of $1600 per month for this position.
Location This position is based in Las Vegas, USA. Relocation assistance may be available for the right candidate.
