Service Technician II
We are seeking a skilled Service Technician II for a 500+ unit community in Las Vegas. This role is ideal for an experienced maintenance professional ready to take on advanced troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and hands-on repair work across all major building systems.
Service Technician II works under the Service Director but is expected to operate independently, resolve complex maintenance issues, and occasionally mentor or guide junior technicians.
Key Responsibilities- Perform skilled maintenance work on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general property systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues quickly and effectively.
- Execute preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend asset life.
- Assist with make-ready processes, turnovers, and inspections to ensure units meet company standards.
- Respond to resident service requests promptly and professionally, delivering excellent customer service.
- Support rehab, renovation, and capital projects under the direction of the Service Director.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, Fair Housing, and multifamily safety regulations.
- Use Entrata (training provided), digital work order systems, and mobile platforms for task tracking and reporting.
- Minimum 2–3 years of multifamily maintenance experience required.
- Strong technical proficiency with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with the maintenance and leasing teams.
- Knowledge of safety protocols, OSHA compliance, and property maintenance standards.
- Reliable, organized, and adaptable under pressure with strong time management skills.
- EPA Certification – Required (Type II or Universal preferred).
- CPO Certification – Must Have Within 90-Days
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical/vocational training preferred.
- Experience with market-rate, affordable, or mixed-income communities strongly valued.
- Professional demeanor with proven dependability and strong resident service skills.
