Lead QC Tech - Lighting

Pay Range: $21.73 - $26.18/HR (Based on experience and qualifications)

Great events depend on reliable equipment. In this role, you'll help ensure that lighting systems are properly prepared, configured, and functioning as expected before they reach the client. Your expertise helps prevent issues before they happen, supports operational efficiency, and contributes to extraordinary event experiences.

• Test, prep, and validate lighting equipment for shows, demos, and other productions.
• Ensure lighting systems are complete, properly configured, and meet production standards before shipment.

• Oversee daily quality control activities within the lighting operation.
• Maintain accurate equipment status and help ensure inventory readiness.

• Troubleshoot equipment issues and identify potential concerns before deployment.
• Document equipment failures and coordinate repairs or replacements as needed.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to resolve equipment availability and substitution challenges.
• Support smooth execution of equipment requests and operational priorities.

• Assist with training and mentoring team members on lighting equipment handling and quality control processes.
• Share knowledge and best practices that improve consistency and efficiency.

• Help optimize equipment organization, storage, and workflow processes.
• Support general operational needs and special projects as required.

• 3-5 years of AV or lighting experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Understanding of safety processes and best practices.
• Flexible availability to support operational needs.
• Ability to train, mentor, and support fellow team members.
