Role Description

This is a volunteer, on-site role for a Youth Mental Health Case Manager, based in Las Vegas, NV. In this role, you will provide direct support to youth and their families, assist in creating tailored case management plans, and help coordinate access to appropriate services and resources. You will facilitate communication between clients, healthcare providers, and community organizations while tracking progress and ensuring follow-up care.

Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, advocating for clients, and designing strategies to promote mental well‑being and resilience.

Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of mental health support practices, case management, and crisis intervention techniques
  • Proficiency in communication, active listening, and building rapport with diverse populations
  • Organizational, documentation, and time‑management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare providers, social workers, and community organizations
  • Empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a genuine passion for working with youth and families
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is preferred
  • Experience in youth advocacy, mentorship, or previous case management roles is a plus
