Eagle Quest is a leading organization serving at-risk and disadvantaged youth and their families, and we are seeking dedicated, compassionate individuals to join our growing team. We are currently hiring Full-Time Home Support Specialists / Youth Engagement Specialists for our residential programs, including THRIVE, INSPIRE and STRONG.
These are a direct care role in a group home setting, providing support, structure, and mentorship to foster and high-needs youth. This is a meaningful opportunity to make a lasting impact while working in a supportive, mission-driven environment focused on helping youth reach new heights.
Morning | Swing | Graveyard / Overnight
Position OverviewIn this role, you will support youth in a residential setting by providing supervision, skill-building, emotional support, and daily structure. You will work closely with youth experiencing trauma, behavioral challenges, and higher levels of care needs.
Key Responsibilities- Build positive, supportive mentoring relationships with youth
- Maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic living environment
- Provide crisis stabilization and emotional support as needed
- Facilitate life skills development (communication, self-care, social skills)
- Coordinate and participate in recreational and therapeutic activities
- Support scheduling, appointments, and daily routines
- Provide transportation for youth using company vehicles
- Assist with medication distribution per program guidelines
- Document all services, interactions, and progress for Medicaid and internal reporting
- Collaborate with therapists, case managers, and program staff
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules (evenings, weekends, holidays)
- Valid Nevada driver’s license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to pass FBI and Interstate background checks (reimbursable after hire)
- At least 1 year of experience working with youth or family programs preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Human Development, Education, Nursing, Public Health, or related field (Required for QMHA consideration)
- Experience working in higher levels of care, foster care, or family preservation programs strongly preferred
- Starting pay: DOE
