Description

The Southern Nevada Senior Law Program (SLP) is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker/Case Manager
* to support older adults (60+) facing legal, social, health, housing, and financial challenges that affect their safety, stability, and independence. As part of our interdisciplinary legal services team, you will work alongside attorneys and community partners to help senior clients access resources, overcome barriers, and achieve positive outcomes.

* This position is contingent upon the approval and receipt of grant funding. If awarded, you will be joining a passionate, collaborative team committed to making a measurable difference for seniors in our community.

Requirements Responsibilities include
  • Provide holistic case management and client advocacy services
  • Conduct client assessments, home visits, and community-based support activities
  • Coordinate referrals and services with community agencies and providers
  • Support clients through legal processes, including attending court as appropriate
  • Maintain accurate case documentation and resource information
  • Build relationships with community partners and participate in outreach and education efforts
  • Contribute to SLP's client-centered, trauma-aware approach to service delivery
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience in case management, advocacy, resource coordination, or direct services
  • Knowledge of aging services, public benefits, community resources, and issues affecting older adults
  • Strong communication, organizational, advocacy, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations of seniors and caregivers
  • Proficiency in case management software, secure data entry, and virtual meeting platforms
  • Bilingual skills are a plus
Requirements
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance
Compensation & Benefits
  • Starting salary: $65,000+, based on experience and education
  • Excellent health insurance, retirement, and leave benefits
  • Eligible employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program
