Data & Systems Engineer

As a Junior Full-Stack Data & Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in modernizing our digital infrastructure across our airport retail footprint. This is a unique hybrid role combining application development with robust data engineering
. You won't just be building apps; you’ll be designing the data architecture that will eventually power our AI-driven demand forecasting and personalized passenger experiences.

• DB Design: Design and maintain schemas in SQL Server and PostgreSQL to handle high-volume retail transactions.
• Data Mapping & ETL: Use Azure Data Factory (ADF) to map and move data between disparate systems, ensuring "one version of the truth."
• ERP Integration: Connect our core retail ERP (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, or Oracle) with modern web and mobile front-ends.

• Web & Mobile: Develop and support responsive web applications and mobile tools used by both airport staff and traveling customers.
• Backend: Build and optimize APIs and server-side logic to handle real-time inventory and loyalty program data.

• Azure Deployment: Manage CI/CD pipelines and deploy scalable resources within the Azure Cloud environment.
• AI Groundwork: Ensure data cleanliness, proper indexing, and "hot/cold" storage strategies to prepare our datasets for Machine Learning and Predictive Analytics.

• Databases Proficiency in SQL Server (T-SQL) and PostgreSQL
