Cloud Platform Engineer

Overview

As a Software Engineer on this team, you will be a key contributor to product development activities for our team in Las Vegas. You will be working on a high-intensity, results-oriented team that leverages cutting-edge technologies and techniques. The right individual will be motivated and will have a passion for automation, deployment processes and enabling innovation.

• Design and implement core services used by our public- and hybrid-cloud solutions
• Define and meet scalability, availability, security, and performance goals
• Rapidly build and evolve major features in collaboration with product management
• Research and experiment with key technologies, architectures, and standards
• Assist with supporting Production systems
• Understand complex technical details and build test methodologies for them
• Design and implementation of the CI/CD pipeline into multiple public cloud regions
• Development and operation of common platform services that can be leveraged by our SaaS solutions moving forward
• Overall reliability and security of these services and the environments they are run in
• Monitoring and support for these platform and infrastructure services, as well as metrics collection and reporting related to them

• BS in Computer Science (or equivalent degree)
• Interest in web infrastructure and distributed systems;
  In this role you will gain hands-on experience working with production cloud computing services
• Solid coding and service development skills, with knowledge/experience in at least one of the following toolsets or languages:
  Java, Node.js, C#/.NET, GoLang, Python
• Develop quality scalable, tested and reliable applications using industry best practices
• Interest in contributing to one of the following: API design and development, performance analysis and capacity planning, SQL and No
  
  SQL database design and development, continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD), AWS cloud services, test-driven development (TDD)
• Ability to work in a fast paced, evolving, growing and agile environment
• Strong level of curiosity and interest to learn
