Job SummaryBluberi is seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for game software development and slot machines to join our new Las Vegas Studio. The Game Software Developer IV will design, develop, and deliver high‑quality, captivating, and performing games, using graphics, animation, audio, and mathematical formulas, while guiding other studio developers toward greater efficiency and solid creative concepts.
Essential Functions- Develop, code, integrate, test, and debug high‑performance game software within the slot platform frameworks.
- Implement complex game logic, bonus features, pay‑table behavior, art, animations, and triggers for market‑leading game concepts.
- Act as a key technical reference for the game development team and participate in technical discussions and decisions.
- Collaborate with Art, Audio, Mathematics, and QA teams, providing technical mentorship to junior developers.
- Program support, integration, documentation, and validation of game code using the development platform.
- Implement game changes and modifications through the development process.
- Optimize software for performance and reliability and troubleshoot complex development issues.
- Assist the engine team on modules and issues related to the game development kit, participate in discussions, and help shape the tools.
- Manage projects from ideation to completion.
- Research technical issues and share findings with the team and other studios.
- Contribute gameplay feedback and recommendations that help the game director make design decisions that improve the game.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or college diploma, advanced degree preferred.
- 4+ years of game development experience, preferably in the land‑based gaming industry.
- 6+ years of programming experience, preferably in video game development.
- In‑depth knowledge of gaming concepts.
- High proficiency in C, C++, C#, and Unity 3D.
- Experience with Visual Studio.
- Experience with SVN and GIT version control tools.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time‑management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong people skills and ability to lead teams through significant change.
