Solution Architect - Java & Cloud Technologies

Responsibilities

• Build a technology vision and strategy for a solution or business domain.
• Using a holistic approach, conduct solution analysis, design, planning, and implementation to develop and execute strategy.
• Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) between IT and the business for the solution.
• Collaborate with technology and business stakeholders to develop a solution design for an assigned business capability.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and other Architects to shape and align product roadmap and deliver new features.
• Present complex technical proposals to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Conduct POCs as needed to evaluate new technologies and approaches.
• Lead the development team during solution implementation, translating business requirements into technical language.
• Create solution architecture and high‑level design documents, decompose solutions into domains, design APIs, and create epics and stories for developers.
• Design microservices, including REST‑based microservice APIs.
• Apply software design principles and major architecture patterns.
• Lead architecture and development solutions with a pragmatic approach and proven record in agile delivery.
• Maintain strong knowledge of AWS services.
• Utilize containerization tools and technologies such as Red Hat Open Shift, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Apply strong proficiency with Java and Java frameworks (e.g., Spring, Spring Boot), SQL and No
  
  SQL DBMS (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, MongoDB), and procedural & object‑oriented development.

• Deep experience in AGILE/Lean development methodologies.
