Job Overview

Bluberi is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our new Las Vegas Studio as a Game Software Developer III. The role focuses on game software development for slot machines, guiding other studio developers toward efficient, solid and enticing games.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, code, integrate, test, and debug high-performance game software within the slot platform frameworks.
  • Implement complex game logic, bonus features, pay table behavior, art, animations and triggers for market leading game concepts.
  • Act as a key technical reference for the game development team and participate in technical discussions and decisions.
  • Collaborate with Art, Audio, Mathematics, and QA teams, providing technical mentorship to junior developers.
  • Program support, integrate, document, and validate game code using the game development platform.
  • Implement game changes and modifications through the development process.
  • Optimize software for performance and reliability and troubleshoot complex development issues.
  • Assist the game engine team on modules and issues related to the game development kit, participate in discussions, and help shape the tools.
  • Manage projects from ideation to completion.
  • Research technical issues and share findings with the team and other studios.
  • Be a key contributor and provide gameplay feedback and recommendations to help the game director make design decisions that improve the game.
Required

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or college diploma (DEC), advanced degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in game development, preferably in land-based gaming industry.
  • 4+ years of programming experience, preferably in video game development.
  • In-depth knowledge of the gaming world and its key concepts.
  • High proficiency and expertise in C, C++, C#, and Unity 3D.
  • Experience with the Visual Studio development environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of SVN and GIT version control tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to make key decisions.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Expert analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, with effective presentation skills.
  • Strong people skills, excellent collaboration, and ability to lead teams through change.
  • Shows dedication to continuous learning and self improvement that benefits the organization.

Travel Required
  • Ability to travel 5-10%, including some international travel.
Physical Demands
