Air Freight Manager

This position spearheads market analysis to expand potential markets, formulate strategic plans, and cultivate partnerships with air carriers to broaden the network. This role directs and empowers the airfreight team, monitoring performance and facilitating interdepartmental collaboration to achieve business goals.

Job Summary:

Job Summary:

• Execute the Air Freight Product strategy at the Branch level
• Own and manage the Air Freight product P&L
• Ensure the appropriate staffing in the Air Freight team(s) Branch and to drive future-oriented workforce planning, in line with productivity targets
• Manage and be overall accountable for the performance of the Air Freight operations teams in the Branch

• Ensure execution of the Air Freight strategy in the Air Freight organization

Job Summary:

• Management of imports and exports by air and land, from the reception and documentation, to manage the delivery with transport company and forwarders.
• Responsible for the coordination of international freight forwarding with specific usual handling to/from different markets (destinations/origins), and receiving of customers' orders.
• Daily contact with customers, freight forwarders, customs agents, transport Companies and other logistics operators, in addition to the resolution of possible incidences with customers, and daily contact with them.
• Keeping orders in the company database.
• Issuing of debit notes to customers and filling of expenses from providers
• Daily work in the logistics software of the company.
• Realizing several administrative tasks such as data entry of new clients/partners through company support.
• Take warehouse tasks, control of receiving products into the warehouse through w/h partners, daily shipments control, picking and packing tasks through them, contact with transport companies.
• Calculated transport costs, created proposals for co-customers and internally in the company networking, and chose transportation routes.
• Making quotations to customers, own offices and network agents.
• Export customs filing of air shipments.
