Our Green Driver is an important role with Star Nursery. The successful delivery of product to residences or job sites leaves the end-user with the best impression of Star Nursery and its product and services. This is a Safety‑Sensitive position that requires an exceptional driving record and valid credentials to drive our insured vehicles.

ob Description ul> li>Fully understand how to operate and safely drive your assigned vehicle li>Drive vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) under 26,000 lbs.
li>Pick‑up and safely transport goods to intended destination li>Ensure contents are properly secured in truck, flatbed or bucket to prevent damage/injury li>Obtain signatures to confirm and complete deliveries li>Assist in mapping driving routes li>Stay on predetermined route and ensure timely transport and delivery li>Communicate with dispatch as needed li>Confirm that the contents of each shipment load match the manifest document li>Perform inspections of your vehicle prior to and following each trip li>Check weather conditions and road reports before departure li>Always ensure your vehicle is kept clean li>Maintain, log and service vehicle as needed (refuel, change oil, tire pressure, repairs, etc.)
li>Notify managers of any major maintenance or delivery issues encountered li>Follow delivery schedule and rest at appropriate times li>Adhere to company rules and regulations li>Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive according to the weather/road conditions li>OSHA Safety compliance li>Maintain appropriate paperwork li>Pull orders, load and deliver li>Timely delivery of orders li>Transferring merchandise between stores /ul> inimum Driver Requirements ul> li>Have a valid Driver License with proper endorsements in the applicant’s state of residence li>No current driving record suspension or revocation li>Approved Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) & Pre‑Employment Background checks.
li>Ability to drive Manual Transmission Vehicles /ul> hysical Requirements ul> li>Ability to push/pull 50 lbs li>Ability to lift 50 lbs /ul> p>Full Time.
