Road Supervisor – Las Vegas, Nevada
We’re Hiring an experienced Road Supervisor to ensure the smooth operation of our transportation network, prioritizing safety and performance.
CBA Position- $23.18 – $30.59 (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement Pay Scale)
- Starting pay: $23.18 with progression to $30.59 over 10 years.
- Vacation: up to 5 days per year
- Paid Sick Leave: 26 hrs after 1st year worked (full‑time employees)

- Perform vehicle operator safety evaluation ride checks, investigate, and respond to situations; resolve operational issues; assist transit passengers as needed.
- Communicate job requirements and responsibilities to drivers.
- Take responsibility for day‑to‑day scheduling, counseling, and evaluation reports to local management.
- Conduct on‑scene accident investigations; assist drivers in preparing accident reports, OSHA reports, and safety violation documents.
- Design and deliver driver training and safety courses; train new drivers and retrain those involved in accidents.
- Observe drivers on the road, correct safety problems on the scene, and document violations.
- Serve as liaison between drivers, clients, and organization for customer service issues.
- Evaluate and monitor driver safety and performance, and ensure compliance with legal, employment, and labor policies.
- Assist Safety Manager with DOT/FTA compliance regarding drug testing and record‑keeping.
- Assist in dispatching, driving, interviewing, and miscellaneous clerical tasks as needed.
- Meet all driver qualifications at the location; obtain and maintain a CDL required for operation.
- Work extended hours regularly, including weekend and overnight shifts when needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Commercial Driver’s License Class B with passenger and air brake endorsements.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Supervisory experience with hourly employees.
- 2–3 years of transit supervisory experience preferred.
- Computer‑literate with working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiar with basic vehicle mechanical processes and maintenance.
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage time.
- Excellent verbal, written, and relational communication skills; ability to interact with employees at all levels, customers, senior management, client representatives, union officials, and the general public.
- Work outside in varying temperatures, weather, and humidity; 100% job performed outside; work alone in remote locations.
- Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours/day); frequently walk long distances and on uneven surfaces.
- Push and pull objects up to 50 lbs.; lift material up to 50 lbs.; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch.
- Withstand heavy traffic areas and exposure to dust, vehicle fumes, and noise.
