CDL Driver Class A

Position Purpose

The CDL Driver at SRS ensures the safe and timely delivery of building materials to job sites, verifies inventory, adheres to safety protocols, and maintains high service standards. This role supports operational efficiency and fosters strong customer relationships through professionalism, teamwork, and responsiveness.

Job location:

SRS Building Products - Las Vegas, 4255 S Valley View Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89103.

• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and verify inventory accuracy, ensuring secure, damage‑free deliveries.
• Assess job site conditions to prevent hazards and collaborate with customers for material placement.
• Document deliveries with photos in accordance with company policy.
• Load and unload materials up to 100lbs using forklifts or manual methods.
• Work in varied weather and noisy environments and read job‑related documents in English.
• Operate in a fast‑paced schedule within a 200‑mile radius without overnight stays.
• Assist in yard support and occasionally perform sub‑service for semis when required.

• Valid CDL ClassA with air brakes endorsement and a clean driving record.
• Commercial driver experience of 1‑2years.
• Current DOT medical certificate.
• Forklift certification or ability to operate forklifts safely.
• Must be 18+ (21+ for interstate/hazmat) and pass background checks, drug testing, and E‑Verify.
• Verification through FMCSA Clearinghouse.

• Hazmat endorsement.
• Strong vehicle maintenance skills.
• Experience with multi‑drop deliveries and fleet‑management systems.
• Multilingual abilities.
• Additional safety certifications such as crane certification.

• Commercial Driver’s License ClassA with Air Brakes Endorsement.
• DOT Medical Certificate – Current.
• Forklift Certification – Preferred.
• FMCSA Registration – Required.

Drivers will manage long hours, fast‑paced schedules, and varying weather conditions while traveling within a 200‑mile radius, with no overnight stays. The role requires operating a conveyor for unloading product from pallets, sub‑servicing semis as needed, and maintaining safety compliance.
