Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate tractor-trailers over long distances, adhering to all federal, state, and local regulations.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
• Plan and execute efficient routes to meet delivery schedules while optimizing fuel consumption.
• Secure cargo properly using appropriate tie-downs and equipment.
• Maintain accurate driver logs, trip reports, and other required documentation using electronic logging devices (ELDs).
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members regarding load status, traffic, and potential delays.
• Provide professional customer service at pickup and delivery locations.
• Perform minor roadside maintenance and report any significant mechanical issues promptly.
• Adhere to company policies and safety procedures at all times.

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class
