Shuttle Driver Job Overview
Shuttle driver provides transportation for our guests from their resort to our orientation facility, to our tour staging area, and back to their resort. Maintain basic knowledge of the different tours offered by Sun Buggy to be able to answer questions and set proper guest expectations competently. Coordinate with the "Torch" (dispatcher) to ensure guests are picked up on time.
This is a DAYTIME JOB, meaning you can be home (or wherever you like) at night!
We cater to high-end clientele, and Sun Buggy has a best-in-the-business reputation, which means courteous and attentive drivers do very well with tips and service bonuses!

Responsibilities and Duties of Shuttle Driver Host- Perform a daily pre-trip inspection of the shuttle you'll be driving and stock with water for guests.
- Maintain a neat appearance of the shuttle and participate in keeping guest and office areas clean.
- Pre-call guests to confirm pickup location, time, and head count.
- Pick up and deliver guests in a safe and timely manner.
- Obey all traffic laws and drive defensively.
- Assist guests with check-in and orientation process as time allows.
Qualifications that are necessary for Shuttle Driver Host.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to maintain and foster cooperative and courteous working relationships with the public, peers, and supervisors.
- High School Diploma and basic math competency
- Ability to look up directions and navigate
- Ability to communicate clearly over the phone, online, and in-person
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, and reach.
- Ability to use a cell phone with hands-free headphones to access directions and call pre-call guests
- Driving record free of DUIs
- Pass Pre-Employment and random substance abuse screenings
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Valid Driver's License with Passenger endorsement
- Starting at $15.00/HR base pay + Guest Tips + Weekly Company Bonuses (with tips and bonuses easily avg well over $20/hr full time++)
