Role Overview Under direct supervision, performs manual and clerical duties related to the shipment and receipt of component parts and finished goods. Responsible for verifying and maintaining records on incoming and outgoing shipments.

Responsibilities & Key Performance Indicators
  • Maintain > 95% inventory accuracy on Service parts and 100% on Finished goods equipment. Monthly cycle count records
  • Keeping updated and accurate records for 100% of non-sellable and used warehouse inventory.
  • Reviews orders for correct part’s number and description to ensure that the correct product and/or part is picked. Identifies order discrepancies and corrects discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Verify and process customer orders to ship UPS, LTL for timely delivery.
  • Maintains an inventory of cartons, tapes, crates, clamps, foam, and other packing material.
  • Provides excellent customer service via telephone and in-person. Responds to phone calls/emails requesting parts information in a timely manner.
  • Reviews and troubleshoots customer problems and initiates standard corrective action procedures.
  • Notifies management when inventory of specific items is low or when orders will deplete available inventory. Ensures that an adequate stock of parts is available to meet customer needs.
  • Maintain warehouse and stock area neat, organized, and clean.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED and three years of shipping and receiving experience is required.
  • Ability to operate materials handling equipment including forklifts, pallet handler and hand trucks. Prior customer service experience is strongly desired.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of UPS, Fed Ex, and similar companies shipping
  • Good computer and organizational skills
  • Team player, willingness to help others as well as accepting help from others.
  • Ability to carry out repetitive tasks quickly and methodically.
  • Ability to follow safety policies and procedures.
  • Ability to read and understand written work instructions.
  • Friendly, outgoing personality, and great communication skills

Pay & Benefits

The Hourly range for this position is $21.00 – $25.00, approximately $43,680–$52,000 annually. This range is a good faith estimate of what Hoshizaki America expects to pay for this role. Actual pay may vary based on experience, education, skills, and internal equity.
