Job Description
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for conducting warehouse operations efficiently, safely, and productively. The Warehouse Associate works in conjunction with the warehouse team and management to load & unload, stock & pull, order pick, palletize, prepare inventory for sale & shipping, process inventory accurately, and recondition merchandise in the warehouse, as well as other warehouse and inventory control related duties. This includes working with a team for inventory procedures, and coordinating with all other departments for daily operational functions of the warehouse.
This is an inventory-centric position, and basic knowledge of warehousing and computers is required to be able to complete these tasks. An average of 70 products or lots processed per day is required to meet productivity goals.

- Exceptional attention to detail
- The ability to lift 50 lbs or more
- Some experience in warehousing
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Some knowledge of Audio Visual equipment
The duties of a Warehouse Associate include but are not limited to:
- Report to Warehouse Department Supervisors, all AVGear management
- Keep all information confidential concerning AVGear business
- Act in a professional manner at all times
- Understand and follow all AVGear Policies and Procedures
- Report to work on time, at the time(s) prescribed by management
- Accurately handle and process products in accordance with department standards and operational procedures for warehouse inventory items.
- Communicate directly with the Department Supervisor concerning the status of ongoing photos and PO’s
- Ensure that all non-manufacturer markings, labels, stickers, or identifiers are removed
- Be accountable for your equipment, your work area, and the products you are handling
- Maintain a safe, clean and organized working space at all times
- Properly and safely use, maintain, and store all equipment
- Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly KPI’s are met.
- Inform Supervisor if KPI’s were not met on a per-shift basis before the shift is completed, including the reasons as to why they were not met
- Become autonomous and work independently with little direction after completion of departmental training
- Become familiar with AV equipment as a core competency of the Warehouse Associate position
- Maintain a clear and clean work area with disposal of trash as needed
- Coordinating work with fellow workers and other team members
- Identify, report to management, and fix safety hazards in the workplace
- Perform all opening and closing duties as assigned in the weekly chore assignment
- Perform additional warehouse duties as needed, including but not limited to:
- Testing and reconditioning of inventory
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Moving, sorting, staging, picking, stocking, or otherwise handling inventory
- Actively participate in and enforce AVGear’s safety policy
- Perform cross-department or additional duties as needed or assigned by supervisor or management
