Job Summary

Are you interested in joining a Company built for auto enthusiasts by auto enthusiasts? Bring your warehouse experience to our team at Aftermarket Performance Group (APG). This is a new warehouse and location for APG, we are ramping up hiring right now! The Warehouse Auditor is responsible for overseeing the movement of incoming and outgoing goods within the warehouse. Responsibilities include validating counts, date entry of information into the computer database, identifying product damage during receiving and prior to shipping, and confirming the quality of goods.

Logistics expertise, strong attention to detail, numerical skills, basic computer skills, and a high sense of integrity are critical in this role. Works under the general direction and guidance of the Assistant Warehouse Manager.

Primary

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Audit pallets to identify mis-picks and validate product count
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of loading area
  • Ensure quality and proper packaging of product to be shipped
  • Oversee the placement of product/pallets by forklift drivers in loading area
  • Verify accuracy of packing labels and tags for product awaiting shipment
  • Load product to ensure timely delivery to end customer
  • Verify correct shipping and receipt of product
  • Conduct audits to evaluate compliance with standard operating processes
  • Compose reports summarizing audit findings to ensure Operations can easily identify process risks and implement corrective action
  • Review proposed corrective measures and ensure they are sufficient to eliminate non-conformance
  • Validate corrective measures implemented in response to audit findings
  • Assist with inventory count periodically
  • Participate in meetings, follow guidance, and provide feedback as appropriate
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and instructions
  • Other duties as assigned
Education & Experience Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 6+ months of stable work experience in a warehouse or distribution center (preferred)

  • Ability to walk, stand, bend, twist, climb and perform repetitive movements for extended periods
  • Requires using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, working in cramped work spaces and awkward positions, exposure to hazardous equipment and distracting/uncomfortable sounds and noise levels
  • Experience using ladders and forklifts
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, and team lift up to 120 pounds on occasion
  • Requires working in warehouse environment with varying temperatures
  • Must be able to adhere to attendance policies and requirements
  • Ability to speak/read in English
