Material Handler - Pre Assembly
Job Description
As a Warehouse Material Handler I, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse. Your primary responsibilities will include handling incoming shipments, unloading, and storing received items, as well as verifying and recording part quantities on packing slips. Your role will be physically demanding, requiring you to lift packages weighing between 50-100 pounds and operate equipment such as forklifts to move heavy shipments.
Responsibilities
Ensure systematic and physical receipt of materials from vendors, suppliers, and carriers.
Systematically and physically locate parts in designated locations.
Execute process split moves and sub-inventory transfers.
Verify parts and quantities against packing slips.
Log incoming mail and communicate details to the lead.
Process cubic scans and receive re-work purchase orders.
Receive serialized items and pack cases from active inventory.
Inspect shipments for damage and correct quantities, reporting any discrepancies to leadership.

Work Environment
The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds daily and occasionally up to 100 pounds. You will work in varying temperature conditions, from very cool to very warm. Overtime may be required based on business needs. The position involves standing and walking throughout the warehouse for extended periods and requires repetitive motions such as lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and twisting.
Adherence to warehouse safety protocols and regulations is essential.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Las Vegas, NV.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
