We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Librarian Assistant in Las Vegas. As a Librarian Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the organization and accessibility of our library's resources.

• Assist patrons with locating materials and navigating the library's online catalog system
• Check in and out books and other library materials
• Shelve returned items in their proper locations
• Process new materials by stamping, labeling, and adding them to the catalog system
• Maintain the cleanliness and order of the library space
• Assist with library programs and events, such as story time or guest speaker presentations
• Help patrons use computers, printers, and other technology available at the library
• Answer phone calls and provide basic information about library services

• High school diploma or equivalent required;
  Bachelor's degree in Library Science preferred
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people
• Knowledge of library systems and online catalog systems preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

This is a contract position with a salary of $1700 per month.

Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the contract.
