THE JOB:
It is the primary responsibility of the Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative support. This includesplanning and scheduling meetings and appointments, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files; managingspecial projects; conducting research; and collecting information by using the telephone, mail services, websites, andemail. All duties are performed in accordance with department guest service standards and MGM Resorts Internationalpolicies, practices and procedures
THE STARTING RATE:
$27.50 Per Hour
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Provide effective and comprehensive support to department head
Proper phone etiquette, people and communication skill; provide general office support to all team members onan as needed basis and perform related duties as required
Type documents to include correspondence, presentations, forms, reports, etc.
Schedule meetings and conference calls
Organize international and domestic travel ranging from air and hotel reservations to passport and visa applications; handle situations where independent judgment is exercised, thereby relieving the Executive ofextraneous matters
Screen incoming calls and either assist caller when appropriate, forward calls that can be handled by others;maintain confidential files and honor the integrity of all information
Manage and prioritize heavy volume of e-mails including archiving and retrieval
Reconcile expenses and submit reimbursable items for processing
Update and maintain Executive’s business associate contact details
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Must be 18 years of age or older
High school diploma or GED required
2+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience in Executive Assistant or Administrative experience Required
Experience working in a similar resort setting Preferred
Must be proficient in Word, Excel and Power Point
Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays Required
