A part-time job on-campus offers a great way for you to earn money to help pay for school as well as to get a jump start on your career track. Student employment allows you to acquire work experience, transferable job skills, self-confidence, and develop a network of professional contacts for your future career. On-campus jobs include departmental, federal/state work-study, and graduate assistantships (GA) in non-academic departments.
Keep in mind that each department makes their own hiring decisions, therefore students are not placed in a job or guaranteed a job.
Position Title Graduate Assistant
Department Department SummaryThe Graduate Assistant will assist the Graduate Affairs Coordinator in digitizing confidential student documents. In addition the GA will assist with Graduate Bridges portal, prepping for Fall 2021 launch. We are looking for someone who is detail orientated, flexible in working in office and remote, and able to assist with Graduate Bridges, including designing graphics, creating videos and tutorials.
The successful candidate may be considered for full time GAship within the Office of Graduate Studies with 9 credits of tuition paid for Fall 2021.
Job Description
Specific Duties
- with designing graphics, including creating video and print tutorials for Graduate Bridges.
- uploading new materials to Graduate Bridges.
- manage confidential information.
- scan documents and create student folders and management folders in the Graduate Studies Sharepoint.
- maintain regular hours
- report to the Graduate Affairs Coordinator
- other duties as assigned

Minimum of 3.0 GPA
Work experience in a higher ed office setting
Video/graphic design experience a PLUS
