Customer Service Rep
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative for a temp to hire remote opportunity supporting health insurance members in New Mexico. This role is ideal for a service-focused professional who enjoys helping people understand benefits, coverage, claims, billing, provider networks, and related healthcare information.
Key Responsibilities- Assist members with health insurance inquiries by phone, email, and chat.
- Explain benefits, provider networks, referrals, coverage details, and related plan information.
- Research and resolve billing, claims, and account-related concerns.
- Accurately document member interactions in company systems.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect confidential member information.
- Deliver professional, friendly service while meeting quality and performance goals.
- Pay: $15.00 per hour.

- 1 to 2 years of customer service experience preferred.
- Previous experience in healthcare, insurance, or a call center environment is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must reside in New Mexico, excluding Santa Fe County.
- Must have a private workspace with a door.
- Must have a hardwired internet connection.
- Strong communication, listening, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable navigating multiple computer applications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced remote environment.
- Ability to maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards.
- Healthcare, health insurance, member services, claims, billing, or provider network support experience.
- Previous remote customer service or virtual call center experience.
- Bilingual communication skills may be helpful in supporting a broader member population.
