Skills and/or Duties- Routine data entry
- Answering phones; greeting customers; taking messages
- Scanning and making copies
- Training new hires
- Managing schedules
- Providing support to students (tutors, peer mentors, orientation leaders)
- Conduct presentations
- Managing confidential information
- Maintain regular attendance
- Perform other job duties as assigned
- Assisting the department in which she is employed in day-to-day work
- Data entry, documenting results, grading
- Talking to Ms. Johnsen's classes about the wonderful world of being a CS student
- Researching the internet for research material
- Assisting with the test out development (testing the material and questions, quality control)
- Assisting Ms. Johnsen set up homework for online courses as auto-graded assignments in Brightspace
- Occasionally joining the CS 1440 lab to assist Ms. Johnsen with working one on one with students who are just learning to program
Education:
- College student at NMHU enrolled with a minimum of six (6) credit hours
- High School Diploma or GED
Experience:
- No experience to some clerical/office experience
- Lifting a minimum of 30 pounds
