Schedule:
Full‑Time | Night Shift
The ER RN will be responsible for assessing, planning, supervising, and evaluating the nursing care of patients.
Responsibilities- Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity levels
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Monitor, evaluate, and document patient conditions, responses to treatment, and clinical outcomes
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
- Operate and maintain emergency department equipment while ensuring patient safety and quality standards are met
- Respond effectively to medical emergencies, trauma situations, and critical care needs in a fast‑paced environment
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records and nursing documentation
- Advocate for patients and support a culture of compassionate, patient‑centered care
- Adhere to all hospital policies, regulatory requirements, infection prevention standards, and nursing best practices
- Correlate the nursing process with the medical plan of care and organizational policies to ensure safe, effective, and coordinated patient care
- Experience with standard nursing and medical equipment
- Strong communication skills and English proficiency
- Passion for delivering exceptional patient care in a fast‑paced environment
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred
- 2+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse required
- 1+ year of Emergency Department or related specialty experience preferred
- BLS certification within 6 weeks of hire
- ACLS and PALS certifications required
- TNCC certification required within 90 days of employment
