Administrative Assistant

A Lifetime of Smiles is seeking a professional, experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is confident communicating with patients, comfortable discussing scheduling and financial arrangements, and able to maintain a calm, polished presence in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

For over 26 years, A Lifetime of Smiles has provided award-winning dental care to our community. Our full‑service practice offers preventative, cosmetic, restorative, and surgical dentistry in a modern, patient‑focused environment. We take pride in delivering exceptional service and creating a welcoming experience for every patient who walks through our doors.

Our administrative team plays a critical role in supporting patient care, coordinating schedules, and ensuring every patient interaction reflects the high standards of our practice.

Important:
This position requires daily communication with patients regarding scheduling, treatment recommendations, and financial arrangements. Candidates must be comfortable speaking professionally and confidently both in person and over the phone.

Key Responsibilities
  • Professionally answer and manage incoming phone calls
  • Welcome patients and assist with scheduling and appointment coordination
  • Communicate clearly with patients regarding recommended treatment and next steps
  • Collect payments and review financial arrangements with patients
  • Assist patients with insurance questions and benefit coordination
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Coordinate with doctors and clinical team members to support daily operations
  • Uphold HIPAA standards and maintain patient confidentiality
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in a dental office, medical office, or healthcare administrative role strongly preferred
  • Experience speaking with patients or clients about services, scheduling, or payments
  • Professional phone etiquette and strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy office environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working with digital systems and practice management software
