An automotive parts manufacturer near the LaSalle, IL area is searching for a Production Supervisor who will be responsible for overseeing the production team and department activities. The ideal candidate will have previous experience within an automotive parts manufacturing environment.
This is a full-time position with excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), paid holidays & vacation.
Responsibilities- Supervision of production team (timekeeping, discipline, etc.)
- Production planning and scheduling
- Address team & equipment concerns – resolve & report accordingly
- Assisting in production process improvement
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Understanding of continuous improvement processes
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to lead in a multi-cultural environment
- Able to intermittently sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch & lift up to 30 pounds
