Member Team Lead – New Club Opening (Lathrop, CA)

Lead and inspire member‑facing associates to deliver a friendly, efficient, and welcoming experience. Assign work, set priorities, communicate expectations, coach and develop associates, support recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, performance management, and advocate for members, associates, and the company. Partner with cross‑functional leaders to deliver a seamless total club experience.

• Ensure members are acknowledged, needs identified, and issues resolved with care and urgency.
• Support members with transactions, self‑service technology, Club Pickup, and merchandise location.
• Promote membership types, upgrades, credit programs, and benefits; participate in sales and marketing events to support membership growth.
• Oversee areas by managing claims, returns, zoning, signing, and merchandise organization; maintain availability of carts and flatbeds; monitor shrink, damages, and inventory accuracy.
• Ensure Club Pickup orders are picked, staged, and completed per policy; maintain accurate documentation and records.
• Support front‑end and accounting processes: cash handling, registers, deposits, cash fund transfers; investigate overages, shortages, discrepancies; assist with audits and compliance reviews.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment; conduct safety sweeps; enforce compliance with company policies; support the Open Door Policy.
• Train and develop associates; identify potential; recognize contributions; celebrate team wins; create inclusive environment.

• Collaborate with managers, associates, members, and business partners to meet business needs.
• Use reliable data and multiple information sources to make balanced decisions.
• Coordinate work to meet timelines and quality standards.
• Lead others through change with clarity, consistency, and confidence.

• 6 months retail experience operating front‑end equipment (e.g., cash register).
• 6 months customer service experience.
• 18 years of age or older.

• Front‑end team leadership experience.
• Supervisory experience including hiring, evaluating, mentoring, and managing workload.
