SummaryThe Clinical Outreach Coordinator is responsible for growing the company’s lines of service by developing and retaining referrals from professional referral sources across various account types. Represents the facility to the public, as well as hosting the public when visiting company sites.
Responsibilities- Maintains a schedule of primary sources including business, industry, EAPs, managed care clients, physicians/licensed practitioners and allied health professionals.
- Documents every contact in the Lightning Step system.
- Maintains current account information and business development referral/admission records and statistics.
- Develops and maintains new account relationships and markets.
- Develops and conducts community workshops and seminars, conducts facility tours to educate potential clients and families about programming.
- Manages leads from referral sources and ensures efficient admission process for clients.
- Maintains collaborative working relationships with the admissions department.
- Acts as a liaison between the company and reference sources.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Associate or bachelor's degree in business, behavioral health marketing or related field preferred.
- One or more years of related experience in healthcare business development and marketing role, preferably in behavioral health or substance abuse disorder settings.
- Must have and maintain a valid California driver’s license, clean driving record, and maintain personal auto insurance coverage.
- Ability to create and develop referral sources.
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
- Must have a current TB test or chest x-ray.
- Knowledge and understanding of HIPAA and CFR-42 client confidentiality regulations.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work well and quickly under pressure both individually and as part of a team.
- Excellent project management skills to consistently meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills with superior attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
