Freight Flow Associate

Oversee day‑to‑day operating, inventory, safety, and customer service activities in a Sam’s Club fulfillment environment. Maintain compliance with Walmart and Sam’s Club policies, safety standards, and the Open Door Policy. Operate forklifts, manage inventory flow, support club pick‑up orders, provide member service, and drive continuous improvement opportunities on the sales floor.

• Operate forklifts safely and follow all company safety and operating procedures.
• Receive, organize, and store merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers, ensuring inventory flow, shelf capacity, and proper documentation.
• Maintain sales floor and merchandising presentation by zoning, stocking, rotating, and cleaning displays, and ensuring promotional and seasonal merchandise is prominently displayed.
• Support club pick‑up orders, stage products, and perform occasional accuracy audits.
• Track inventory levels, control shrinkage, and identify and report low inventory or poor inventory practices.
• Proactively assist members with technology services, self‑service kiosks, purchasing decisions, and product location.
• Conduct safety sweeps and report unsafe conditions, hazardous material handling, and forklift maintenance needs.
• Identify and address opportunities for improvement, adapt to changes, and provide feedback to management.

• At least 90 days of prior forklift experience and forklift certification.
• Ability to safely use pallet jacks.
• Minimum age 18 years.
• Good communication skills and a customer‑service mindset.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.

Wage range: $21.00 to $29.00 per hour (actual rate will equal or exceed the minimum wage). Additional premiums of $0.35 to $3.00 per hour may apply based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
